Guides · use cases, scripts & installs

Real estate chatbot use cases, mapped to the guide that covers each one.

Real estate chatbot use cases fall into five jobs: capturing visitors instantly, qualifying them on budget and timeline, answering repeat enquiries, booking viewings, and handing leads to your CRM. These guides map each use case to a script, install step or honest limit.

Start where you actually are

A buyer-journey index — the right guide for the stage you’re at.

Nobody reads a guides hub cover to cover. So instead of a link list, here is the exact question an agent asks at each stage of deciding, building and running a chatbot — and the one page that answers it. Find your stage; read that row.

Stage The question you’re asking here Read this What you’ll get from it
Awareness Is an AI assistant actually worth it, and what would it even say to my buyers? Conversation examples Real transcripts of the bot capturing, qualifying and booking — so you can judge the use case before you judge the price.
Evaluation Which chatbot should I choose, and how do the options actually differ? Compare providers An honest side-by-side of the main real estate chatbot options, including where a done-for-you build beats a DIY widget and where it doesn’t.
Implementation How do I add one to my site without breaking anything? Add a chatbot to your site The install, platform by platform — kvCORE, Placester, WordPress, Squarespace — down to where the single line of code goes.
Operation What does it actually say, hour after hour, once it’s live? Chatbot script templates The twelve scripts the assistant runs — greeting, qualification, availability, after-hours booking — that you can adapt to your market.
Risk & compliance What can’t — and shouldn’t — a bot like this do? Honest limitations The Fair Housing and TCPA lines the script is built to never cross, plus the moments that belong to a human, not a bot.

Read top to bottom, the five stages are one path: you weigh it up, you compare, you install, you run the scripts, and you stay inside the compliance lines the whole way. Skipping a stage is usually why a DIY bot ends up ignored — either it was never installed properly, or it says things it shouldn’t.

The guides

Three practical guides, no fluff.

Each one is written to be used, not skimmed — the scripts are copy-ready, the install steps are platform-specific, and the limitations are the ones we’d tell you on a call before you paid us a cent.

Chatbot script templates

Twelve copy-ready conversation scripts — the greeting, the qualifying questions, the “is it still available?” reply, the after-hours booking flow — that you can lift straight into your own assistant.

A platform-by-platform install walk-through for kvCORE, Placester, WordPress and Squarespace — where the one line of code goes, and what changes depending on where your site is built.

Honest limitations

What these bots can’t and shouldn’t do — the Fair Housing lines they must not cross, the TCPA rules on texting, and the human moments no script should ever try to automate.

Read the honest limits

Prefer to see it before you read about it? The conversation examples show these use cases running end to end, and how it works covers the 7-day build behind them.

Before you build anything

These guides won’t make a chatbot the right move for everyone.

A guides hub is only useful if it’s honest about when to close the tab. Here is where the use cases on this page stop working — and where a guide, however good, can’t help.

  • No traffic, no use case. Every guide here assumes people are already reaching your site or page. Under roughly 200 visitors a month, none of these scripts have anyone to talk to — fix traffic first, and we’ll say so for free.
  • A script is not a strategy. The templates give you the words; they can’t give you a market, a niche or listings worth qualifying for. If you don’t know who your buyer is, no bot will work it out for you.
  • DIY is real work. The install guide is honest that “one line of code” still assumes you can edit your theme, connect a CRM and test edge cases. Plenty of agents would rather that hour go to us — that’s the done-for-you service.
  • Compliance is not optional. Fair Housing and TCPA aren’t footnotes you can skip. The limitations guide exists precisely because a careless bot is worse than no bot. Read it before you launch, not after a complaint.

Questions

About the use cases and the guides.

If you can’t tell which use case you actually need, that’s the first thing we work out on a 15-minute call.

What are the main real estate chatbot use cases?

Five, in practice: lead capture the instant a visitor lands, qualification on budget, area, timeline and financing, answering the repeat questions (“is this one still available?”, opening hours, fees) day or night, booking viewings straight into a calendar, and a clean handoff into your CRM. Everything on this hub maps back to one of those five jobs. Watch them run in the conversation examples.

Which guide should I read first?

Work down the buyer-journey index at the top of the page. If you’re still deciding whether it’s worth it, start with the examples and how it works. If you’ve decided and want to build, go to the install guide and the script templates. If you’re worried about compliance, read the limitations first — no shame in that.

Are these guides written for DIY, or for your done-for-you service?

Both, honestly. The scripts and the install steps work whether you build it yourself or we build it for you — we’d rather you succeed either way than gatekeep the useful parts. What we actually sell is the done-for-you version: we write the script for your market, connect your real listings and CRM, and manage the tuning every month. The DIY route is real; it’s just more of your weekends. Pricing for the managed version is on the pricing page.

Do these use cases work if I don’t own a website?

Yes. The assistant is channel-flexible — it can run on your website, your Facebook page, or a lightweight page we host for you. The Solo Assistant tier ($750 build, then $250/mo) is built exactly for solo agents who don’t own a site. The install guide covers the website route; the same scripts run on Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp too.

Will a chatbot get me in trouble with Fair Housing or TCPA?

Only if it’s built carelessly. A well-scoped bot is often safer than an off-the-cuff human reply, because the script is fixed: it doesn’t steer buyers by neighbourhood demographics, it doesn’t make lending promises, and it follows consent rules before it texts anyone. The limitations guide walks through exactly where those lines sit and how the script stays on the right side of them.

Rather have it built than read three guides?

Try the live demo, or book a 15-minute call and we’ll map these use cases to your own listings — then build and manage the assistant that runs them.
